4 Summer Books You Should Read During Summer 2017!

It's that time of year again where I go searching for the perfect Summer read! Surely, I can't be the only one with this random urge to find a light and easy read when the weather starts to heat up, right? I thought it'd be a perfect idea to make a post about a few books that everyone should try to read during the sweltering hot months. Don't forget to fill a glass of cold lemonade to accompany your reading!

1. The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han

                                                                        Photo taken by me!

I think this is a classic summer read, so it obviously deserves the number one spot! Plus, the new covers are summer vibes times 10 and are totally Instagram photo worthy!

2. Signs Point to Yes by Sandy Hall

If you're looking for a light and easy read to read by the pool this year, you should defiantly pick this book. I love Sandy Hall's writing style and I never fail to fall in love with her characters. When you're finished with this one, you have to pick up her first novel "A Little Something Different" because trust me, the title is just that!

3. Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella
    Goodreads Link

                                                                         Photo taken by me!

I read this book last summer during the  biblio-a-thon and couldn't put it down. I had a strong connection with Audrey and her issues with anxiety to where I almost thought that someone stole my own thoughts and put it in a book. Finding Audrey is a quirky, coming of age story that'll have you not feeling so alone if you deal with certain mental disorders.

4. The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson
     Goodreads Link

                                                                  Photo found from Google search!

I have yet to read this book, and maybe I shouldn't put it on the list since I don't know if it's a worthy read, but I've heard good things and the cover screams summer. The paperback is only $10 at Barnes & Noble's, so I will defiantly be purchasing this one during my next visit!

What are your favorite summer reads?
